Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
These terms govern your use of IP Exposed (the “Service”), available at ipexposed.com. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
No user accounts
IP Exposed does not require registration. There is no account to create, no password to set, and no profile to manage. The Service operates on a single anonymous request: you visit the page, your Internet Protocol (IP) address is processed in memory, results are displayed, and the request ends. Nothing about you is retained between visits.
No stored data
We do not operate a database. We do not log IP addresses, browsing history, search queries, or any other personal data. Browser-side signals (your time zone, language, Do Not Track preference, User Agent, WebRTC leak status) are processed entirely inside your browser tab and are never transmitted to our servers. They exist only while the tab is open and are discarded when the tab closes.
For privacy details, including the legal basis for processing your IP address (legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation), see our Privacy Policy.
Affiliate link disclosure
IP Exposed is supported in part by affiliate commissions. Some links on this site — specifically those pointing to NordVPN, Surfshark, Proton VPN, and ExpressVPN — are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and then make a purchase from the Virtual Private Network (VPN) provider, IP Exposed may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" in the page source so search engines and assistive technologies can identify them.
We also list non-partnered providers (such as Mullvad and Private Internet Access) in our comparison content for completeness. We have no commercial relationship with these providers; they appear because including them is more useful to you than omitting them.
Affiliate compensation does not influence the underlying classifications, leak detections, or feature comparisons shown on this site. Cell values in the VPN comparison matrix reflect each provider's publicly stated features as of the page's last update.
No warranty on accuracy
The Service displays IP geolocation, Internet Service Provider (ISP), Autonomous System Number (ASN), connection type classification, and browser privacy signals on a best-effort basis. IP geolocation is approximate. It is typically accurate to city level — not to a street address. ASN-based connection classification relies on third-party data sources that can be incomplete or out of date. Browser signals are interpreted using browser-supplied APIs whose availability and behavior vary across browsers and operating systems.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You agree that you use the information shown by the Service at your own risk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute arising out of or related to your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the United States. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
